3:11 PM I only have 1 lecture today at 12.30pm...got seated at 12.25pm...by 12.40pm, the lecturer still didn't arrive...suspicious...finally, somebody went up and announced that the lecture was cancelled... #%&$!#%%$@!!@ and that the make up lecture will most probably be tomorrow from 6.30pm-8.30pm... *!@)&(!!#)^*@~)#*@!@!(^*#!_($&@&!~)#&%@(%* so my schedule for tomorrow: 10.30am-12.30pm: biz law tutorial 2.30pm-6pm:IT seminar 6.30pm-8.30pm: biz law make up lecture *@(@)^$!)$*@_!!)$#(&%&@)~%#^($%&^(@!#(%#^$^@*#$)%$#*^@$)%@~#~*$%* I could have stayed at home for one more day (i went home on Tuesday morning) and gotten more sleep. Nevermind, i shall look on the brighter side of life. I have to wake up early for lesson tomorrow anyway. People who don't live in hostel and only had this lesson today were probably even more pissed than I was. Uber pissed
7:29 PM They keep lying to us! There's still no replacement for our spoilt air-con remote control!!! We have moved in here for about 3 weeks already! Grumble grumble. Everytime i go to the office, they say, oh come back next week or come back in 2-3 days time. And when i do come, they tell me the same thing again! Grrrrrr. Whatever. I have no classes on Thursday since its Union Day which means i'm free and can go home from 10.30am tomorrow morning after accounting lecture until Friday morning! Woots! This week is gonna pass by in a flash. I have to prepare for a presentation on Friday though. Actually its just presenting my answer for one question in the business law tutorial. But i have to prepare powerpoint slides and print out a hardcopy, just for that one question. And why was i so sway to kena that first presentation? They went by register no. -.-" Oh oh oh and IT seminars are actually not meant to be 4 hours!!! It's supposed to be 3 hours, but they just reserved 4 hours for that module anyway in case extra time is needed. So relieved upon knowing that. My last lesson ended in like 2 and a half hours! :D After going through today's financial management tutorial, i still don't get like about 40% of it. Dammit. Although i haven't exactly decided what major i want, i certainly wouldn't strike banking and finance out of my list. 7:32 PM OHMYGOSHHHHH. I can't concentrate in the hostel! Firstly because there is a laptop right in front of me, secondly because reading is the most boring form of homework ever, last but not least i freaking don't know how to do the biz law tutorial. 10:29 PM In my hostel now, revising biz law lecture notes and gonna read the textbook after that. Within the last 10 minutes, about 4-5 flies have attacked my desk and desk lamp. 10:31 PM I am pretty much sian most of the time now. Yes, school has started, homework is steadily piling up (lots of additional readings), first accounting lecture felt more like an econs lecture, first business law lecture was o.0whud? Tutorials begin next week, lots of preparations to do before class. Printing lecture notes, constantly checking edveNTUre for impt announcements and course documents, bought expensive textbooks that weigh a ton (knowing that you will use some of them for only 1 semester) and almost died carrying them back to the hostel room. My side of the hostel room is still relatively empty compared to Sheryl's, still wondering whether to buy a new bolster for the hostel after realising on the first night that i really can't do without it. Hesitating because no matter how many hall activities i participate in, i still may not secure a room next year. My loathe of bathing in public toilets has since slightly lessened, but still wondering how to cope in the bathroom when period comes. Although i already had prior knowledge that being in university means you're literally left on your own, years of being in my comfort zone throughout primary school, secondary school and jc certainly did not prepare me for this. I am a SC kind of person. I like things structured, consistent, predictable. I resist sudden changes and adapting to changes. Hmmmmmmmmmm...i'll get by somehow. The past week was a busy one. Monday. Spent 2 hours cleaning up the filthy hostel room, extremely unhappy with the previous tenants for leaving the batteries inside the air-con remote control till it leaked and spoilt the remote control and we have to wait until next thurs/fri for a replacement, water that we threw away from the cleaning was YELLOW not black, walked around the campus to familiarise myself with the new surroundings, checked the directory a million times before driving off to orchard road, only to still end up lost but after an agonising journey (only for me, Jiemin said it was fun), eventually we got to shaw house, dinner at ion orchard, got back to the hostel with Jiemin sleeping over, struggled to wake up the next morning for a 8.30am lecture. Tuesday. Drove back home after the lecture and then to the airport for lunch with Jiemin and to pick my parents up. After waiting for eternity and nearly dozing off, called my father and BAM. They were returning the next day. Mum told me the wrong info. Did not suspect anything because there was a flight with the same flight number coming in from Fukuoka that day as well. Stunned at the whole idiocy. Parking fee=$7. Collapsed onto the bed as soon as i reached home. Wednesday. Really picked my parents up from the airport. Drove to Jiemin's house for a mahjong session. Lost $4+. Plus not that scared of Rex anymore. Thursday. Went back to school for a 2 hour lecture. Bought textbooks, waited for papa to fetch me because the textbooks were too heavy and i was already late, drove to tampines mall, panicked because there was traffic jam on the way, had dinner at bbq chicken tamp 1, watched Up in 3D. It was nice :D Friday. Relieved the weekend has come! Plus had more than enough driving throughout the week. I have swiftly progressed to the stage whereby i drive not because it's fun, but because it's convenient. Now. Wondering which homework to do first. 0 comments Thursday, May 28, 2009

10:33 PM  Am squeezing out all brain juices for that NTU business appeal. Simply have no inspiration. Actually at this stage, I feel pretty much neutral about both NUS and NTU business. Going into either one is fine, but still appealing anyway. Will be working at the Expo food fair from tomorrow till next Tuesday, 11am-10pm. If you are attending, do drop by my stall at Super coffee.
